Kalsec Inc., Kalamazoo, MI, has formed an exclusive agreement with OmniActive Health Technologies, Short Hills, NJ, to produce, market and distribute its natural zeaxanthin from paprika worldwide. Kalsec’s zeaxanthin is produced by concentrating zeaxanthin pigments from a common food source, paprika. Under this agreement, OmniActive will educate consumers and increase awareness of the health benefits of zeaxanthin, while developing innovative delivery forms and distributing them to the marketplace.
